How a Guest Pass works

  • When an Admin creates an Event and wants to allow Customers to bring a Guest, the Admin will leave a value of 1 or higher in the “Max Guests per Person” section of the Event settings during Event creation

  • By doing so, the Admin is allowing a Customer to bring a Guest

  • If a Customer has a Guest Pass and wants to use it for an Event that allows Guests to join, the Customer will indicate they are bringing a Guest when signing up for the Event

  • To do this, the Customer will:

    • Click into their preferred Event in the Community tab of the App

    • Select Extra Guests on the Order Summary page (the last page of the booking flow)

    • Select and comfirm the amount of Guests they wish to bring

      • If the Customer has a Guest Pass, it will be auto-applied to the total amount

    • Click on the Submit payment → button at the bottom of the screen

  • It’s important to note that the use of a Guest Pass or Play Pass might have restrictions inside the environment

    • Some of these requirements might be:

      • Guest Passes are tied to Memberships

      • Guest Passes can only be used on tagged Events

  • Contact your Club’s Admin who was part of the PodPlay onboarding process and ask them about any unique process flows, or contact your PodPlay Customer Success Manager if you have further questions
