How to deactivate a Customer Account

  • A few reasons why an Admin might want to deactivate a Customer Account are:

    • Customer is seen as a bad actor

    • Customer behaves in problematic ways

    • Customer is continually exhibiting fraudulent behavior even after a Club staff member speaks with them

  • When these things happen, an Admin can go to the Customer’s Account and deactivate their account

  • For an Admin to do this, they would

    • Navigate to the Customer’s Account

    • Look for the Account Status section, near the top of the Overview tab of the side panel

    • Flick the Status toggle

    • Confirm the pop-up window asking if you would like to deactivate the account

    • Notice how the Customer’s Account is not Blocked

  • Once the Status toggle is turned off, the Customer will be unable to sign into the app with this email
