What is Spot+ pricing?

Edited
  • Spot+ pricing is a dynamic revamp of the Per Spot pricing model.

  • How does Spot+ pricing work?

    • When a Club has picked the Spot+ pricing model, the rate for Customers is a dynamic per participant/hour. The table/court price would remain the same cost, say $40, and the cost per participant playing on the table/court would change, moving up or down in cost, depending on how many participants were playing at any given time.

    • A Customer who wants to book a Reservation will go through the booking flow and select the number of participants who will join the Reservation. Once the Reservation has been finalized, the Reservation Holder will need to invite the other participants to the Reservation. This can be done in the App.

    • When the Customer books the Reservation, they only pay for their spot, so if the Reservation Holder does not invite their friends, the Club will not receive the full amount for the Reservation. Once the other participants accept the invite that the Reservation holder sent, these other Customers pay for their respective spots.

    • Using the $40/hour table/court rate, if a Customer is booking a Reservation for 4 people, the cost per person is $10. If the table/court is booked for 1 person, the cost is $40. If booked for 2 people, the cost per participant is $20.

      • In the case of a 3-person Reservation, finding a number easily divisible by 1, 2, 3, and 4 can be a challenge, so slightly adjusting the total cost is expected. Therefore, if booked for 3 people, the cost can be set to $14, equalling $42 total.
