What if a Customer who books a 2-person Reservation and shows up with 3 people? (Spot+)

Edited
  • When a Club is using the Spot+ pricing model:

    • If a Customer books a Reservation with 2 people and arrives at the Club with 3 people, an Admin at the front desk can stop the group and inquire about their Reservation.

    • Given that a 2-person Reservation is more expensive per person than a 3-person Reservation, the Customers will benefit from a change on the Dashboard.

    • The most effective way to remedy this situation is to

      • Delete the Reservation

      • Book another Reservation with the correct number of participants

    • The Admin can then add each Customer to the Reservation, and the Customers will pay less for their play-time.

    • NOTE: If a Customer books a Reservation with 2 people and arrives at the Club with 3 people, and the Admin adds the 3rd Customer to that Reservation, all 3 Customers will pay the 2-person pricing, which is more expensive.

  • The following video shows:

    • How the pricing of each Customer is affected when an additional person is added, and how to

      • Delete the old Reservation

      • Create a new Reservation with the correct participant quantity

      • Adding the correct Customers to the Reservation

      • Ensure the Customers are checked in and pay for their spot
