What if a Customer books a 3-person Reservation and shows up with 2 people? (Spot+)
When a Club is using the Spot+ pricing model:
If a Customer books a Reservation with 3 people and arrives at the Club with 2 people, an Admin at the front desk can stop the group and inquire about their Reservation.
Given that a 3-person Reservation is less expensive per person than a 2-person Reservation, the Customers will need to pay the difference between the two amounts.
The most effective way to remedy this situation is to add a charge to each Customer within the Reservation.
If a third Customer is on the Reservation, an Admin can also remove that non-participating Customer from the Reservation to avoid any system charges.
NOTE: the Admin needs to remove the 3rd person from the Reservation before the end of the Reservation, which is when the system will charge the Customers.
The following video shows how:
Checking in a Customer will activate their Purchase, should the Customer not already have accepted the Reservation invite from the Reservation Holder
