What if a Customer books a 3-person Reservation and shows up with 2 people? (Spot+)

Edited
  • When a Club is using the Spot+ pricing model:

    • If a Customer books a Reservation with 3 people and arrives at the Club with 2 people, an Admin at the front desk can stop the group and inquire about their Reservation.

      • Given that a 3-person Reservation is less expensive per person than a 2-person Reservation, the Customers will need to pay the difference between the two amounts.

      • The most effective way to remedy this situation is to add a charge to each Customer within the Reservation.

    • If a third Customer is on the Reservation, an Admin can also remove that non-participating Customer from the Reservation to avoid any system charges.

      • NOTE: the Admin needs to remove the 3rd person from the Reservation before the end of the Reservation, which is when the system will charge the Customers.

  • The following video shows how:

    • Checking in a Customer will activate their Purchase, should the Customer not already have accepted the Reservation invite from the Reservation Holder

    • Adding a charge to the Customers who are at the Club and playing with 2 people instead of 3 people
