Remove a Customer’s Credit Card

  • Even if the PodPlay system is the most secure technology platforms for modern sports venues (read more here), there might still be a Customer who wants to have their credit card removed

  • To remove a Customer’s credit card:

    • Navigate to the Customer page of the Dashboard

    • Search and click on the Customer’s Profile

    • Scroll down in the Overview tab

    • Open the PAYMENT METHOD drawer

    • Click on the trash can icon beneath the Customer’s active credit card

    • Remove the credit card on file

  • If the Customer has any pending transactions, like an upcoming Reservation or Event which the system has not yet billed them for, of if they have a Membership, the system WILL NOT allow the credit card to be removed

    • This is to protect the Club from accidentally removing a Customer’s credit card

  • If a Customer wants to have their credit card removed, all future Reservations, Event signups, and Memberships must be canceled

  • Once the credit card is removed from the Customer’s Profile, they are required to add a credit card again if they want to book in the future
