Migrating Customers from an Existing Club

  • If you’re transitioning from another software over to the PodPlay system, you can provide your PodPlay Customer Success Manager (CSM) a CSV file with all of the information about your current Customers

  • The information needed is:

    • Customer's first name

    • Customer’s last name

    • Email address

    • Phone number

    • Date of birth (optional)

    • Gender (optional)

    • Membership (if applicable/if you want to migrate memberships over)

      • Membership name

      • Price

      • Monthly or Annual

      • Next charge date

    • Credits (if applicable)

      • Must be provided in a $value format

  • Once you share this CSV, the PodPlay team will import these Customers into your new environment

    PLEASE NOTE:

    • Unless you are already working with Stripe as a payment processing system with your current reservation software, migrating your current Customer’s credit card (CC) information is not possible for the following reasons:

      • Payment processing systems will not share CC information

      • Payment processing systems do not want to lose revenue

      • Payment processing systems want to keep your Customer’s charges on their system

    • If you are using Stripe as a payment processing system with your current reservation software, please notify your PodPlay CSM so they can begin an exchange with Stripe


  • Questions to also answer:

    • Do you want the imported Customers to have their Terms of Service signed for them?

    • Do you want the imported Customers to have their Liability Waiver signed for them?
