The below message is the first message you can send to your Customers in the Community Chat. It can be sent in a FAQs and Rules channel.

RULES
Let's build a fun community together
Please use appropriate language and treat other players with respect. Swearing is tolerated but crossing the bridge into abuse will not be accepted. There is zero tolerance for sexual or racial harassment.
No spam - This includes but is not limited to: @mention spam, image spam, and message spam. Exemption for quoting someone.
Keep conversations PG - That means no NSFW pictures or conversations including overly-sexual, gore, or scary content. What does PG mean? If you wouldn't feel comfortable sharing it with your 13 year old sister, it doesn't belong here.
Use the appropriate channels (click the cog next to "Channels" to see a list) - If a conversation does veer off topic, no problem, just try to steer the convo to the appropriate channel.
No Ads/affiliate links/soliciting - Refrain from advertising products that aren't explicitly related to table tennis advice/resources/guidance. You can post your own content, but not if the goal is mainly to monetize or is not in line with PingPod values and interests.
Please DO NOT privately message people you are not acquainted with yet. You can message them first publicly in slack for open matching then move on privately once acquainted. Any solicitations or invites to play should be initially conducted in any of the Open Matching channels
FAQ
Q: How can I add a profile picture or change my handle?
A: Go to the Account section and click on Preferences --> Chat Preferences to upload a photo so other players can recognize you on and off the courts. You can also change your handle in the profile section
Q: How can I find other players near me?
A: If you are looking for a game you can post in the Open Matching channel but we've also set up location specific Open Matching channels (ex: Open Matching - 37th St) to find other players in your area. Click the cog icon next to "Channels" to see a list of channels that you can join.
If you are new feel free to introduce yourself, share your skill level and what times are good for you to play.
Q: How do I control push notifications?
A: When joining community chat you may be asked to turn on push notifications if you haven't turned them on already for waitlists. Once Notifications are on go to Account --> Preferences --> Chat Preferences --> Notifications where you can see more options to control how chat notifications work.
You can also mute specific channels or Direct Messages by clicking on the gear icon located next to the channel / DM name.
Q: What about email notifications?
A: If you are away when someone DMs you or mentions your handle you will get an email with the message after 15 minutes. You. can disable these emails in your Chat Preferences under "Notifications".
Q: How can I control who can DM me?
A: In the "Direct Messages" section of your chat preferences you can completely disable direct messages or only allow specific accounts to DM you.
