Dedicated Slack channels

Edited
  • Various Slack channels can be set up for easy communication between PodPlay and your Club

  • If your Club does not use Slack, a joint channel between PodPlay and your Club can be set up for free

    • This channel can be set up for free by adding your Club as a Single-Channel Guest

  • If you would like a Slack channel for real-time customer updates, you will need to purchase Slack so that you can be invited to multiple Slack channels

  • The dedicated Slack channels will highlight Customer (and Admin) purchases via APIs from the Dashboard, pulling in information like:

    • #[club name]-user-activity

      • This channel logs all Customers who are booking Reservations

    • #[club name]-community-events

      • This channel logs all Customers who signup for an Event

    • #[club name]-user-charge-errors

      • This channel logs all Customer purchases resulting in a charge error or failed charge

    • #[club name]-admin-orders

      • This channel logs all Admin orders on behalf of Customers, like an Admin booking a Reservation, adds a Customer to an Event, tries to do either of the prior two and the charge fails, and when an Admin charges a Customer for a drink or merchandise

  • A Club Owner and Manager can view these channels as an efficient process of monitoring Customer behaviors

    • If you would like to have access to these dedicated Slack channels, please get in touch with your PodPlay Customer Success Manager (CSM) and ask how they can help you set it up.
