N-Day or Non-recurring Membership
When a Customer buys a Membership, they are activating a subscription. When a Membership is activated, the Customer is billed on the same day of the month (monthly plans) or the same day of the year (annual plans) until they cancel their Membership subscription.
The Non-recurring Membership, or N-day Membership, is a new style of Membership where the Customer pays and the Membership will automatically cancel after “N” days.
This means that for each N-Day/Non-recurring Membership:
Customers only pay one time for the Non-recurring Membership
The Membership will run for “N” days
After “N” days, the Membership will automatically cancel
When the Non-recurring Membership is canceled, the Customer will automatically be moved from a Member status (with a blue flag) to a Non-member status in the system.

PLEASE NOTE: If you would like to offer this Non-recurring Membership, please contact your PodPlay CSM to update one of your current Memberships (or create a new Membership).
When you contact the CSM, please specify the number of days you would like the Membership to last before cancellation. If you would like to provide multiple options, specify these two items:
Price
Duration (in days)
If your Club is offering different options for the Non-recurring Memberships, provide the Price and Duration for each variation.
Provide a Non-recurring Membership from the Dashboard
Search for the Customer’s Profile
Click on the pencil icon under the Membership section of their Profile
Select the type of Membership to provide
Choose the “Charge type” = Non-recurring
Notice a few things about this Non-recurring charge type:
There is a Pricing Option available
This is an area where you can select from several Non-recurring plan options; if you select one of the pre-set options, the Price and Duration are grayed out and cannot be edited
There is also an option for Custom (set your own price and duration); if you choose this option, the Price and Duration are no longer grayed out
There is a System Notice at the bottom of the pop-up modal
The notice will tell you how much the Customer will be charged and for how long the Membership will last
Customers Purchase a Non-recurring Membership
If you want to allow Customers to purchase the Non-recurring Membership from the front end of the App, please ask your PodPlay CSM to make these options visible. Otherwise, the Non-recurring Membership options will only be available on the Dashboard.
When they are visible, Customers can navigate to the “Membership” button on the Account tab and purchase a Non-recurring Membership from within the App. Customers can click on the tab “ONE-TIME” at the top, much like toggling between Monthly and Annual, and the available options of different Non-recurring Memberships will appear in a dropdown list.
When a Customer purchases this Non-recurring Membership, they will have access to the Membership perks for the specified number of days.
Duration of Non-recurring Memberships
The day the Customer buys the Non-recurring Membership is the 1st day of the Membership.
In some examples:
1-day Non-recurring Membership = the Membership perks will last until the end of the day
Purchased on Sept 1st at 8 am, Membership is removed by Sept 1st at 11:59 pm
Purchased on Nov 19th, Membership is removed by Nov 19th at 11:59 am
Purchased on Dec 5th, Membership is removed by Dec 5th at 11:59 pm
30-day Non-recurring Membership = the Membership perks will last for 30-days from the purchase
Purchased on Oct 1st at 8 am, lasts until Oct 30th at 11:59 pm
Purchased on Jan 5th at 9 pm, lasts until Feb 3rd at 11:59 pm
Purchased on Mar 10th at 10 am, lasts until Apr 8th at 11:59 pm
