How do I add a Gift Card for a new Customer?

  • If you would like to provide Gift Cards to your Customers, here’s how you would do it:

    • Receive a request for a Gift Card

    • Identify if the Gift Card is for an existing Customer or a new Customer (new meaning not in your Club’s system yet)

      • If the Gift Card is for a new Customer (not already inside your system)

    • Create a Purchase on the Customer who is buying the Gift Card using the Payment Link process

    • Write in the details of the Gift Card purchase, including who the Gift Card is for

    • Ask the Customer purchasing the Gift Card for the name and email for the new Customer

    • Create an Account for the new Customer, with

      • First Name

      • Last Name

      • Email

    • Deposit Credits into the Customer’s Account who is receiving the Gift Card

  • When the new Customer goes to sign into their Account, they will have to reset their password, because they never set it, and will be able to access their Account once reset

  • If your Environment uses Magic Link, no password is necessary, and the new Customer will can sign into your App with only their email address.

  • When the Customer is signed into their Account, they will have virtual credits in the amount of the gift card available to use.
