Stripe Fees with Taxes

Stripe fees are applied over the total amount charged to the Customer. The Stripe Fee is 2.85% + $0.30 / transaction. This is the Stripe fee provided by PodPlay to Clubs in the U.S. and it is a reduced rate vs. if a Club when to Stripe directly.

For Clubs outside the U.S., your Stripe fee rate depends on your country and is included in your SOW.

This means that if a Customer was booking a court for $10 plus 10% tax, the system charges the Customer $11. From this total of $11, Stripe will take their fee. Another way to say this is that Stripe takes their fee from the total amount captured, regardless of what the charge is for.
