Run a Membership Presale

To run a Membership presale, get in touch with your PodPlay CSM. The Membership Presale will run before you open your Club’s doors. You can choose how far in advance you’d like to start the presale. Once this is decided, your CSM will turn off booking capabilities for the Customer and turn on the Memberships.

  • This will allow your Customers to create an account and sign up for a Membership

  • Your Customers will not be able to explore and book a private Reservation


To run a Membership Presale:

  • Create Memberships

    • Send your Membership types and perks to your PodPlay CSM, they will create the Memberships in your Environment

      • Memberships can be hidden from Customers or public-facing

  • Identify the pre-sale strategy you intend to use

    • Do you intend to contact a preset list of people who previously expressed interest?

    • Will you open it up to Friends and Family first?

    • Do you intend to set a Cap for the number of new signups before raising the price?

      • What will the price-raising cadence and structure look like?

  • Send out marketing blasts to your Customers

    • Here are some things you will need to decide to run this Marketing blast

      • Is this a preselected group?

      • What is the content of this marketing blast?

      • Include a link to your Membership page in the Account tab of your App so Customers can create a Profile and buy a Membership

      • Notify your Customers that they will be charged for their Membership upon purchase, and their second charge is

        • 1 month after the Club opens, if a Monthly Membership is purchased

        • 1 year after the Club open,s if an Annual Membership is purchased


  • Keep in close communication with your PodPlay CSM for when the Club will open so they can update the next charge date of the Memberships sold during the Presale

    • This will be based on one month or one year after your Club’s doors open, depending on the Membership purchased by the Customer
