Court+ Advantages and Disadvantages
Model at a glace:
Booker gets a Hold on card for court fee/hour
Booker invites friends in the App to split court costs
Rate paid by each participant at time of reservation = Court Fee / Participants
Booker can choose to foot the bill for inivtees portion, some portions, or just their portion of the court rate
Non-members are charged an additional Non-member Fee at the time of check-in, mitigating the free-rider problem
Customer Advantages
Fairness - everyone pays their share
Low friction - no need for Booker to collect money from other participants outside of App
Options - the Booker can pay for as many invitees as preferred, or only themselves
Incentives - a better deal for bigger parties (reduced court rate with more participants)
Carrot Philosophy -introduces the “Carrot” to Booker through reduced court cost when invitees accept
Coaching Lesson - the Booker can split the cost of a Coaching Lesson with others
Credits - the Booker can cover for any invitee spots using Credits
Customer Disadvantages
Variable cost - based on the number of participants with the positive frame that it can only go down
Club Advantages
Resolves the Non-member free-rider problem
Introduces a “Carrot” in the Customer’s experience
Less operationally intensive for Front Desk or Staff
Greatest certainty in per-hour yield
Club Disadvantages
Headline pricing is higher to Customer than a single spot, even if hourly court cost the same
The modeled pricing structure for Club may need adjustment to adhere to the dynamic Court+ strategy
