If a Customer books a private Reservation and adds a Coach for a lesson, the Coach rate CAN BE SPLIT between all Customers attending the Reservation
To learn more, read Overview of Payment Process for Coaches
If the Reservation Holder wants to invite their friends to the private lessons, it’s important that the Reservation Holder selects the correct Group size of players who will take the private lesson with the Coach
It is extremely important for the Customer to select the correct group size because a Coach can be paid different amounts when different quantities of players are taking a private lesson
To learn more, read about How a Coach sets their Rate
If the Customer does not select the proper quantity of players, the Coach might be under or overpaid by the Customer
When the correct quantity of players is picked, the Reservation Holder will invite their friends to the private lesson with a “split the bill” link, or a link that will allow their friend to “join for free,” meaning the Reservation Holder will cover their friend’s portion of the bill

If a Customer books a private Reservation and adds a Coach for a lesson, the Coach rate CANNOT BE SPLIT between the Reservation Holder and the other Customers attending the Reservation lesson
Instead, the Reservation Holder is on the hook for the total cost of the Coach rate
The reason why the cost cannot be split is because with Spot+ pricing:
The Reservation Holder is on the hook during the booking flow ONLY for their spot
Then the Reservation Holder invites their friends to join with a Paid or Free invitation link
The Paid invitation link means the invitee will pay for their spot
The Free invitation link means the invitee will have their spot covered by the Reservation Holder
The system does does not know how many Customers will join the private Reservation, and thus does not know how to accurately split the Coach rate
If the Reservation Holder wants to invite their friends to the private lessons, it’s important that the Reservation Holder selects the correct Group size of players who will take the private lesson with the Coach
It is extremely important for the Customer to select the correct group size because
The Coach can be paid different amounts when different quantities of players are taking a private lesson
The invitations will cost different amounts based on the number of players the Reservation is booked for
If the Customer does not select the proper quantity of players, the Coach might be under or overpaid by the Customer, and the Front Desk of the Club will likely need to adjust the Reservation once the Customer comes in to play
