Front Desk Set-up

Opening up your Club is exciting and stressful, so we have a recommended set-up for the front desk of your Club to make things easier.

  • If you Club will have a front desk, here are the hardware items you will need:

    • A high-speed internet connection

    • Any computer or laptop with at least 8 gb of RAM

      • 2 computers are recommended, especially if your Club has more than 4 bookable spaces, so your front desk staff can both monitor the incoming Customers and resolve Customer queries when asked

    • A Front Desk Profile in the Dashboard with a general info@[company].com type email that the staff can use when they are sitting at the Front Desk

    • A QR code scanner (recommended for efficient Customer check-ins)

    • A credit card Terminal (recommended, though not necessary)

    • QR codes that Customer’s can scan to (in order of priority)

        • (only available for PodPlay Basic+ plan or higher)

    • NOTE: these URLs are also valuable on the company website and in email marketing campaigns or to introduce your Customers to PodPlay

  • With your front desk set-up for success, the following browser tabs are great to attend to:

    • Overview page of the Dashboard - https://[your company].podplay.app/admin/v2/overview

      • Employees who monitor this page will see with a glance which Customers are coming into the Club, how many people are expected within each Reservation or Event, and the employees can open up the side panels for any of the Reservations or Events they want to review further

    • Check-in page of the Dashboard - https://[your company].podplay.app/admin/v2/overview/areas/[location name]

      • Employees only need to monitor this page if your Club is leveraging the QR code scanner for Customer check-ins
